" I have never worn much make-up and never
foundation at all. (We work at home, so I rarely
used to 'fix my face.') The weight, the
gooey-ness {shudder}, the look of 'regular'
foundation just bothered me too much. I stumbled
on Signature Minerals and now I wear foundation
every day (even when we don't go out)! I tried a
liquid foundation once (right color and all, a
good quality make-up), and my husband asked me to
wash it off: he hated it. (I was relieved, as I didn't like it either!)
The first time I put on Signature Foundation - he
marveled! He loved it! He thought - and thinks! -
it looks lovely and natural and not "made-up." (I think so too!)
It's less noticeable in the pictures (or I'm my
own worst critic, tee hee hee!), but I see
redness and capillaries, and blotchiness on my
face. Signature Minerals foundation (Ivory)
makes my complexion look great - the
irregularities go away but the make-up is not visible.
One thing I do that I haven't seen elsewhere is
to first put a "normal" dark eye liner line just
above my lashes; then I put a second line, just
as fine/thin, in a light color immediately above
the dark eye liner; I think it really makes my
eyes stand out. (Oh, and the lighter color is
lighter than the actual eye shadow I use on my eye lids.)"

Elenor is wearing...
Face:
Light Touch Concealer (wet) for under-eye circles;
1.0 Ivory Foundation (dry) over face, including under eyes/over concealer;
I also lightly dust Damask blush on under-eye circles over foundation to warm it up.
Cheeks:
Fushia Pearl eye-shadow (dry).
Eyes:
Midnight Blue eye color (wet) as first eyeliner;
some Sky Blue eye color (wet) as a second eyeliner above the darker line;
Wave eye color (wet) on eyelid;
Sky Blue (dry) directly under brow arch,
then No. 2 Light foundation (dry) over Sky Blue and rest of area above eye lid.
Lips:
2.3 Light Beige foundation to line just outside
my lips, then used a (mineral) lipstick I made myself.
