• Q. I have very dry skin and I need a makeup that does not dry me out or look flakey, do you think Signature Minerals will work for me?
  
  
  • A. Yes. Even those with extremely dry flakey skin should have success. Signature mineral makeup is non-drying and non-caking.
    
    For best results:
    
    
    1. I suggest exfoliating (a MUST for flakey skin) and applying a good moisturizer (made for extra dry skin) before applying your minerals.
    2. You might even try adding your foundation or concealer to your moisturizer. This method works well for many people with really dry skin.
  
  
  
• Q. My face is very oily so I am in need of oil and shine control. Should I even bother trying Signature mineral makeup?
  
  
  • A. Yes. Even those with extremely oily skin should be able to use Signature Minerals. Signature is completely oil free mineral makeup that does not encourage oil production and does not create "shine".
    
    For best results:
    
    
    1. I encourage you to apply an oil free moisturizer to your clean, dry face before applying your minerals.
       
       If applying moisturizer to oily skin seems "wrong", keep in mind that oil and moisture are not the same thing at all. In fact, providing your skin with the moisture it needs on a regular basis can actually help your over-active oil glands to produce less oil.
       
       
    2. For maximum oil and shine control, I highly suggest using either angel, petal or tawny finishing veils before and/or after your foundation.
       
       Not only do these mineral finishing veils aid in oil control, they also minimize the appearance of pores and give you a very nice polished look.
